I’m showing my shorts to you, faithful blog followers!

A while ago, I wrote a short story, called “Into the Sprawl.”  It is a psychological tale of one young woman’s struggle to survive in a situation she is ultimately unhappy in, and yet can do nothing about.

Originally, I planned to submit it for publication to one of the mainstream literary magazines, but have chosen to do a preliminary publication on my website instead.  Why? – you ask.  Because there is content in the story that cannot be printed in the general public-type magazines I would like to publish it in, and as one editor put it “to edit out the content that would make it okay for the general (underage) public to view would tear at the very foundation of the piece.”

While some might be disappointed, I took that as a huge compliment.  My head swelled for at least a week..

Now, you didn’t really think I was going to show my actual shorts, did you?  I’ve got news for you, faithful blog followers … they’re sort of like those you would see on a granny!  Although, I do have that matching set made of bacon …
